About Triangle USGBC
Established in 2004, North Carolina Triangle Chapter of the US Green Building Council is a non-profit organization with a mission of promoting green building practices and knowledge in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel-Hill area and eastern North Carolina.
Triangle USGBC's Mission
The NC Triangle Chapter intends to be the regional point of contact to promote development, design and construction practices, buildings and communities that are environmentally friendly responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work.
With this mission, they intend to serve the Triangle Region, potential affiliates and the State of North Carolina through implementation of LEED, information exchange, and education.
Additionally, they intend to encourage widespread knowledge and acceptance of LEED certified buildings.

To achieve a sustainably built environment, including green buildings and healthy communities, in the Triangle region and the State of North Carolina.
