Purpose of Web site
The Triangle Emerging Green Builders has developed and launched this Web site to serve as an outreach tool for the Triangle Chapter Emerging Green Builders and a resource for young professionals in the green building/sustainability field.
Content and Tools
The site will provide information on this program and how it plugs into
the US Green Building Council, nationally and locally. In addition the
site will provide information on the role of members and the value of
membership, including information on joining the group.
One of primary draws for the Web site will be a calendar of green building workshops, trainings and social events. The first stage of development will also include the following tools:
- content functionality for members and non-members to add announcements and job postings;
- basic information on physical and virtual green building resources in the Triangle; and
- multiple tools to access information, including RSS.
In order to provide the most value for chapter members, their (exclusive) input will be sought for a second stage of development. We will use feedback in the site forums from members to draw up a second scope of work for further development.
